pics from July 2009

Emi and Natsuki smiling at our favorite sushi restaurant.

Daddy and Misaki like sushi!

Natsuki *begged* me to do her hair like this!

After Sakura's haircut. She looks like a model!

How can Natsuki possibly be sleeping in this position?

On July 25th was our neighborhood's festival so we got all dressed up (except for Emi who grew out of her yukata) and off we went.

Emi (It was a fight just to let me braid her hair!)

The park where we have our neighborhood festival.

Only August left and I'm caught up. Yeah!

The yukata pictures are gorgeous and your festival looks like fun.

Is Misaki in a taiko club? Meg is desperate to learn but I want to know more about how it's taught first- it's all by ear, yeah?

Misaki's not in a taiko club. They had them set up at the festival for kids to try. She's the only one of my kids that was brave enough!!

I can't believe how long Sakura's hair is!! And I love that Emi looks less-than-impressed with her braid. I guess out of four girls you were bound to get a tomboy. Thanks for the pictures, they were beautiful. I miss your girls!

You can never post too many pictures - these are so precious. I'm amazed at how great Misaki looks in royal blue - is there any colour that doesn't look fantastic on her?

Your brood of beautiful girls! Must be a handful. They look great in their yukatas. Was sushi after sportsday? Or do they have fads of all wanting to leave the house in the same color clothes? Or is it a mummy thing so you can group them all together easily where you're out? :)

Mom- Misaki looks great in any color and I'm a little jealous!!

GaijinWife- It's totally random but we went out for sushi on Canada Day and my mom had bought the girls matching T-shirts for the occasion. I used to have the kids in matching clothes so I could find them easily (I still do it when we fly) but it's getting harder and harder to get away with.
